About:

238 Harbour Esplanade will stand as a shining beacon marking the entrance to Melbourne’s Docklands.

The 36 storey, glass sheathed sentinel, at 115m tall, is set to become  a  striking architectural statement  with its combination of 330 stylish apartments set atop a 16 storey, world class hotel.

238 Harbour Esplanade is strategically located on an Island site with 360 degree, panoramic views of the city centre and the Victoria Harbour waterfront.

The building celebrates its iconic location by creating a visual termination along Harbour Esplanade as well as the approach from the West.

The sheer glass façade wraps around forming a sleek skin patterned over its full height with undulating, wave patterns blending with the reflections of the clouds above.

At ground level, a 25 m lap pool, residents gym and lounge together with the hotel bar and restaurant, overlook landscaped parks on two sides, which will provide landscaped, tranquil urban retreats as a counterpoint to the activity of the spaces within.

The tower, comprising nineteen floors of one and two bedroom apartments, which commence at the 16th floor and are topped with two floors of luxury apartments, are served by four, dedicated high speed lifts.

Each apartment has panoramic, floor to ceiling, high performance double glazing with opening sections for natural ventilation. The two bedroom apartments are able to enjoy the option of wind protected wintergardens or opening them up into high level viewing balconies.

The interior design with its Scandinavian  influenced  clean lines and authentic natural materials, employs a palette of light timber flooring combined with elements of natural timber and light coloured cabinetry, set off with polished reconstituted stone work tops and the latest in kitchen appliances, to create a sophisticated interior ambience.

Internal flexibility has been created by using large sliding doors internally to open up the living space into the second bedroom or onto the wintergarden.
